Key Performance Areas:

  • Managing all social media channels in line with weekly marketing to maximize performance.
  • Provide administrative and project support for a social media campaigns.
  • Assist Social Media Manager to strategize and execute initiatives to grow the audience of our social media channels and blog.
  • Reporting using service providers; Google Analytics and internal reports in order to get a better understanding of the performance of campaigns.
  • Write and edit content for different social media platforms.
  • Assist Social Media Manager to maintain influencer and key opinion leader database aligned with brand and commercial opportunities
  • Support the marketing team with planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns.
  • Assisting in the maintenance and roll out of campaigns across paid channels.
  • Campaign management of all paid channels.
  • Ensure creative is briefed following the commercial plan and campaigns when relevant.
  • Update channel reporting.
  • Assist HOD with adhoc marketing tasks.
  • Assist with customer feedback surveys and community management.

Education, skills, behaviour and knowledge required:

  • Grade 12 (Senior Certificate – high school qualification).
  • Degree/diploma in Marketing or equivalent.
  • 2 year’s social media management experience and influencer marketing campaigns.
  • In-depth Social Media channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube,Twitter and TikTok) understanding.
  • Experience within an e-commerce and or retail environment is advantageous.
  • Copywriting experience advantageous.
  • Assisting in the maintenance and roll out of campaigns across paid channels.
  • Liaising with Design Team during the ad creation process.
  • Campaign management of all paid channels.
  • Ensure creative is briefed following the commercial plan and campaigns when relevant.
  • Update channel reporting.
  • High Attention to detail.
  • Deadline driven.
  • Able to work independently and within a team dynamic.
  • Knowledge of strategic social media practices and up to date with best practice.
  • Ability to be resourceful in finding content opportunities.
