Job Description
There is an exciting opportunity to join the Nando’s Finance Department as an Accounts Clerk (6 months Contract) based at our Central Kitchen Office.

Accounts Clerk is responsible for the efficient and accurate processing and management of accounts payable and all creditor related activities.

Minimum Requirements
Education (Formal Qualification Required) Minimum

Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide input to the accounts payable policies and procedures
• Oversee the capturing of the invoices, setting up invoices for payment, sending to manager for sign-off and creditors function to process payment
• Enter, process and verify purchases on behalf of Central Kitchen (Corporate credit cards, petrol cards, 3G cards etc.)
• Receive and process all the Company’s consolidated expense statements, allocating to the correct divisions and ensuring no over expenditure
• Check that the imposed limits of authority are adhered to before processing
• Communicate and co-ordinate activities, answering queries from people in various parts of the organisation
• Monitor and resolve or escalate payment discrepancies
• Assist with month-end closing
• Provide supporting documentation for audits
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as requested by manager
• Maintain and assist in the P2P rollout
• Process and update the Supplier Contracts. Ensure that HOD’s receive a monthly breakdown of all suppliers on contracts.

Nando’s SA is looking for a Creditors Clerk to join its Finance team. The candidate would ensure the accurate processing of creditor transactions and manage creditors through to reconciliation, while ensuring timeous payment.

Minimum Requirements
– Diploma or equivalent NQF level 5 qualification (accounting, bookkeeping)

Duties and Responsibilities
