FXCM Job Description

Primary responsibilities (not limited to)

  • Develop, review and update risk documentation, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain and update daily risk management reports and files
  • Communicate with external parties and co-operate in the management and execution of audit requests
  • Collate departmental Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and help resolve any open issues on the Risk Register
  • Liaise with internal departments to assist in the communication and implementation of operation risk policy and procedures, including assessment of risks and collection of incident reports
  • Assist in delegating and managing internal and external aspects of collaborative projects related to regulatory reporting
  • Coordinate projects with internal departments including but not limited to Legal, Compliance, Finance, Trading, and Project Management on various day to day activities, business and regulatory project
  • Assist Senior Risk Managers in the production of in depth reporting and analysis for the Risk Committee
  • Build and maintain relationships with individuals from different departments of varying levels of seniority within the organization; and
  • Assist senior management in essential administrative functions, ad hoc business analysis requests, and various business projects

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of FX, CFD’s and other financial instruments
  • Experience of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), Controls Testing and Audits
  • Skills in documenting Key Business Processes and Controls
  • Knowledge of operational risk issues and requirements
  • Interest in financial markets
  • Microsoft Word and Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, etc.
  • Think quickly and problem-solve in real-time
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and individually

FXCM Job Description

To support and assist the Governance department, a part of the Legal department, in the provision of corporate secretarial assistance and support to FXCM Group’s legal entities

Principal Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Providing general assistance to the Governance Department, including, but not limited to:

  • Assisting with the day-to-day general administrative and corporate matters (including the maintenance of authorised signatories arrangements);
  • Assisting with maintenance of documentation, spreadsheets and legal databases;
  • Assisting with collating and providing corporate and director KYC documents;
  • Assisting with carrying out periodic checks on corporate documents and registries to ensure that they are up to date, and where required, certified;
  • Assist the Legal department with ad-hoc administrative requests.

Requirements

  • Good organizational and administrative skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently under pressure, prioritise properly and meet stated deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Desirable

  • Experience in the business environment (experience within the financial services environment will be an added advantage)
  • Good attention to detail
