Job Description
You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of software developers, supporting them in building industry leading, robust, and innovative software solutions that are fit for purpose.

Duties and Responsibilities


• Lead and line manage a team of software developers / engineers and support them in building effective, robust and solutions that are fit for purpose
• Optimize resource allocation for meeting sprint goals
• Support the overall architectural principles and capabilities and align the implementation of the systems accordingly
• Manage concessions and deviations from the architecture and development Principles
• Instigate cross-team ideas and initiatives in alignment with the CoEs
• Strive to ensure that processes and appropriate levels of knowledge sharing occurs within and between teams
• Proactively drive innovation with new ideas and options as they become available by new technologies
• Provide feedback to stakeholders on vague or badly defined requirements
• Ensure sprint impediments are removed timeously
• Help PO and PM identify dependencies


• Drive and facilitate smooth delivery within the team and across dependencies, within budget and time
• Being and becoming the domain knowledge expert and the domain architect
• Hold accountability for the delivery of our solutions including quality, technical approach, release management and maturity, and ensure alignment with our Development Principles
• Remain well versed in all/most technical concerns on the project
• Monitor and raise issues of technical debt.
• Ensure up-to-datedness of configuration databases and repositories
• Define, document, and communicate post go-live support requirements
• Maintain existing applications and troubleshoot
• Facilitate relevant SCRUM and JAD sessions for delivery, prioritization of technical spikes as well as reviews and technical decision-making


• Ensuring effective time management to find the balance between development and managing the team
• Contribute towards maintaining a rewarding team culture
• Assist with resourcing decisions and maintaining the team-skills-capabilities-systems matrix
• Managing team growth and considering the blend/level of skills required within team to meet the delivery goals
• Coach and mentor the team members, or delegate appropriately
• Review project progress, the performance of all individuals on the team and the backlog
• Facilitate technology and methodology decision-making throughout team, including standardization of systems architecture, reusable code, versions of software tools, best practices, source control and deployment processes
• Communicate on behalf of team members with stakeholders where required
• Ensure the development team are integrating other team’s services efficiently and that they are offering technical input into how all services can be delivered and improved
• Ensure team progress toward goals and not just task completion
• Implement and ensure the effective maintenance of governance processes
• Work closely with product teams and business representatives, in an agile environment, to implement effective solutions to stated needs, requirements and user stories.

Key responsibilities:

• Primary technical lead for Microsoft Azure AD, Intune MDM + MAM, and Office 365. SME on SSO integration with Enterprise Apps, MFA, Conditional Access, and device enrollment
• Implement and monitor security best practices on the Azure/Windows 10/Office 365 infrastructure to comply with industry standard frameworks and policies
• Provide recommendations and suggestions on areas for improvement
• Troubleshoot cloud, network, and infrastructure related problems
• Provide support to the Communications Team infrastructure by acting as technical resource/additional administrator on WordPress website, Engaging Networks CRM, and Salesforce platforms
• Maintain current knowledge of latest technology and cybersecurity trends
• Perform other duties and functions as assigned
Ideal Experience
• 5+ years’ experience in a technology supervisory role
• 10+ years C# and SQL experience
• 5+ years API experience (SOAP/REST/Web)
• 5+ years working experience with data in the financial services
• Experience in multi-threading, ESB technologies, BPM tools, release management and cloud architecture
• Design and maintain observable metrics for applications and infrastructure we support
• Creating systems, tools & processes that will enhance our clients support and operations
• Deploy solutions across the Azure platform for major enterprise projects
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Cloud solutions: Azure AD, Intune MDM + MAM, EM+S, and PowerShell scripts
• Knowledge of Virtualization (Hyper V, VMware, Xen), Cisco IOS, Firewalls, and Routers
• Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories

Ideal Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, IT/Engineering, or other relevant field required with at least five years of related experience
• Microsoft Azure Solution Architect Certifications: Az-300 and Az-301
• Azure Developer Associate

• Proven track record of successful execution and delivery of integration development projects
• Natural leadership ability with strong collaboration skills
• Proven ability to meet service level requirements and deadlines
• Proven experience with Agile project methodology

• Ability to work under pressure, manage your time appropriately and to be able to multi-task multiple projects
